The Progressive web–based POS solution starts at $199.95 a month and they charge a one–time $600 setup and installation fee.
POS Hardware:
Progressive Team Inc. doesn’t offer POS hardware.
POS Software:
We were unable to complete the review of this service because the demo page was unavailable.
Functionality/Ease of Use:
Progressive states, “Our P.O.S. system will end the time–consuming process of manual sales transactions and paperwork.” We couldn’t prove this true without a demo.
Price/Value:
At $199.95 a month, this web–based service is more expensive than the other POS solutions in the review.
Training/Support:
Progressive claims to offer FREE 24/7 tech support, online live support, maintenance, default design and logo design. This would be an excellent package; however, we couldn’t get the live chat to work, the product demo page was unavailable and when we called the support number we received a recording that said, “Thank–you for calling—goodbye.”
Summary:
Progressive is more expensive than the Bronze web–based POS solution and they don’t offer hardware like the Gold and Silver solutions. This may be a good service, but because we couldn’t try a demo or contact the company, we can’t recommend this POS at this time.
